Drivers must be over 25 years old, with a valid driving license issued at least 2 years ago. The driving license must be greek, or european (for EU countries), or international (for non-EU countries) together with the national license.

Starting the rental, Euphemus will preauthorize the amount of €300 from the driver’s credit card, as a guarantee. If the driver does not have a credit card, he can pay the guarantee in cash. The amount is fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided that no other charges arise. Please note that the refund can take up to 14 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card.
Only drivers mentioned on the rental agreement are allowed to drive an Euphemus rental vehicle. Euphemus allows you to include up to 2 additional drivers in the rental agreement, free of charge. The additional drivers must present at the start of the rental their driving licenses and ID cards and must comply with the driver age limits stated earlier.
The rental vehicles of Euphemus are insured with Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.) program, including Third Party Liability, Theft, Fire and Personal Accident Insurance. That means that you enjoy a comprehensive insurance coverage with a car from Euphemus in Greece. If however you are responsible for damage or theft of the rental vehicle, then you pay up to the amount of liability (€500 + 24% VAT) and the rest amount is covered by the insurance company.
Not covered by the insurance are damages 1) under the influence of alcohol or drugs 2) due to violation of the National High Way Code 3) when the rental car is used by a person not declared as a driver or additional driver in the rental agreement 4) when the Renter fails to provide the rental company and the insurance company with the Police report of the accident or incident 5) due to negligence of the Renter. Also not covered are 1) damage to the tires, the underside and the interior of the rental vehicle 2) damages caused during transportation on a vessel 3) damage due to use of wrong fuel 4) damages when the car is driven off road, in water, sand or competition 5) damage when towing another vehicle or tranfering explosive materials and 6) theft of personal items from the car.
Payment must be completed before the start of the rental. Euphemus accepts payment via credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, American Express), PayPal, bank transfer and cash.
1. You can make a booking request through the website, email or phone. 2. Depending on vehicle availability, you will receive an offer through e-mail or text message, within 24 hours. 3. If you agree and wish to proceed with the booking, a down payment equal to 20% of the rental price is required. 4. After the down payment is received, you will receive an e-mail or text message with the booking confirmation.
Cancellations are free of charge, meaning the down payment is fully refunded. However, if there is no prior notification for the cancellation, the customer wiil be charged with a "no show up" fee of €40.
Returning the vehicle earlier does not entail a refund. For delayed returns, there is a grace period of 3 hours, after which a full day’s rental price will be charged.
We can deliver and pick-up rental vehicles from the Athens International Airport as well as other locations within the Attica region, after prior agreement.

You have to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel you received it. If not, you will have to pay for the cost of the missing fuel.
All the rates include 200km free per day. In case you wish to drive more, there is an extra charge of €10/100km on top of the rental price.
